Target are delighted to announce the signing of 2023 PDC Masters Champion, ‘Hollywood’ Chris Dobey!
Chris has been steadily been climbing the ranks in the world of professional darts, with 2023 being his major breakthrough year, winning the PDC Masters Champion and being selected for the Premier League where he shone in the early weeks, picking up the first night of the competition.
The 2023 PDC Masters saw Chris at his absolute best as he took out some of the biggest names in darts to lift the trophy. His run to the final was arguably the most difficult that anyone could have faced in the draw, as number 21 seed he went into the first round against Joe Cullen before defeating Luke Humphries and Dirk van Duivenbode to set up a match with the newly crowned World Champion Michael Smith. In this match, Chris averaged a classy 95 to sweep aside the World No.1 11-7. He kept his cool in the final against his future stable mate Rob Cross, clinching the championship in a thrilling final match 11-7.
In Chris's own words,
