ROB CROSS

On January 2nd, 2017, Rob Cross was an electrician playing in his local pub darts league, watching the World Darts Championship final with his family. Few in the darting world knew his name, but we at Target saw his potential. 

Shortly after the 2017 World Championships, we announced our sponsorship of Rob Cross, recognizing his undiscovered talent. We began working closely with him to create a range of darts precisely matched to his specifications, ensuring perfection in every detail. 

On January 1st, 2018, Rob Cross capped the greatest debut year in PDC history by defeating Phil 'The Power' Taylor in the final of the 2018 World Darts Championship. This remarkable victory established Cross as a force to be reckoned with in the world of darts.
 

In July 2019, Rob Cross became the fourth player in history to win both the World Matchplay and the World Championship, overcoming Michael Smith in the final at Blackpool Winter Gardens. 

Rob Cross, known as 'Voltage,' continued to dominate in 2023, securing the European Darts Grand Prix Championship, followed by victories in the New Zealand Darts Masters and the New South Wales Darts Masters. His narrow win over fellow Target player Nathan Aspinall showcased his exceptional skills and determination.
