February 2025 Round-Up: Elite 1, Pathway & Academies

February 2025 has been an exciting and eventful one for our Elite 1, Pathway players, and Academies. There have been impressive performances, new signings, and significant progress across the board. Here’s a quick round-up of everything that’s happened this February!

 

Elite 1 Highlights

February was a month of success and progress for our Elite 1 players. Here’s a look at some of the standouts:

 

  • Joseph Westby won an ADC Vault in Bolton and reached the final in the ADC Vault at the Rogues Bar.
  • Oliver Haughan won the Darts Academy Northeast Masters. He reached the semi-final of the JDC Advanced tour 3. Oliver reached the last 16 at the WDF Scottish Open boys event and the last 64 in both mens events.
  • Jenson Walker won the Modus Super series week. He reached the last 16 at the WDF Scottish Classic.
  • Paige Pauling won the WDF Dutch Open Girls, retaining her title from last year. Paige won the JDC Girls series 1 & 2. She reached the quarter finals in the PDC Women’s series events 2 & 4 and the semi-finals of event 3. Paige retained her WDF Slovak Open girls title.
  • Owen Bryceland won the SDA Grand Prix 1 Top Flight beating Mitchell in the final. He reached the quarter finals of the JDC Advanced tours 1 & 4. He reached the semi-finals at the WDF Scottish open boys event and the last 32 & last 64 in the mens events.
  • Mitchell Lawrie won the SDA Grand Prix 1 Masters beating Owen in the final. He reached the semi-final of the JDC Advanced tour 1 & the quarter final Advanced tour 2. Mitchell scored over 2000 on the JDC routine on 12th February then registered a score of 2079 on 26th February. He reached the quarter finals in the WDF Scottish Open mens pairs event with his partner, the semi-finals of the Scottish Classic and the last 64 in the Scottish Open. He won an ADC Vault in Bo’ness
  • Mason Teese reached the final of the JDC Advanced tour 2 and quarter final of Advanced tour 3. He also reached the last 16 in the PDC Development tour 2.
  • Arthur Allston won the Sudbury academy Grand Prix event this month. He got the man of the match award for his win at county for Suffolk under 18’s with a 25.05 average. He won the JDC Foundation tour 1, reached the semi-final of tour 2 and the quarter final of tour 3.
  • Sophie McKinlay reached the semi-finals at the WDF Scottish Open.
  • James Beeton reached the semi-finals at the WDF Scottish Open. He also reached the semi-final in the PDC Development tour 1 and a finalist in Tour 4.
  • Eleanor Cairns reached the last 16 at the PDC womens series event 4.
  • Daan Bastiaansen reached the last 16 in PDC Development tours 1 & 4.
  • Alfie Busby reached the last 16 of the PDC Development tour 5.
  • Jayden Fitzgerald won the final ranking season for Cork Youth Darts, this was his last season being eligible to play in this.
  • New signing Kaya Baysal won the regional finals of the Proper Pub Competition and has reached the Nationals to be played next week. He also won an ADC Vault at the Rogues Bar.

Pathway Players' Progress

 

Our Pathway players have been making great strides in their development, and February 2025 was no different. Here's what they’ve been up to:

 

  • Ben Proudfoot won the Windmill blind mixed pairs. He has won 2 county matches for Suffolk this month.
  • Eoin Roche won the Youth Perpetual Cup.
  • Jayden Walker beat Mitchell Lawrie in the JDC Power league.
  • Dylan Moss won the Boundary Park Junior Darts Academy u18’s Vault.
  • Elijah Bale reached the quarter final of the JDC foundation tour 1. He won a pairs competition at the Rogues Bar, and he was awarded young player of the season for the Astley Bridge darts league.
  • Mattie Ambage won and ADC Vault in Windle. He reached the quarter final and 2 semi-finals at the JDC Foundation tours 1st weekend.
  • Jenson Macey reached the semi final of the JDC Foundation tour 2.

 

As the weather and tempeture finally warms ups, we have much to look forward to in the months ahead. We’re thrilled with the progress of all our players, both Elite 1 and Pathway, and excited to continue nurturing the next generation of darts stars.
