DAAN BASTIAANSEN

Dutch-born Daan Bastiaansen first started throwing darts for fun as a child in his grandfather’s café. In 2016 he participated in a charity event where he met the invited semi-professional in the final, this is where Daan’s career began when he started to play in the NDB (Dutch Darts Bond).

Daan has won many youth tournaments, the Belfy open, Bruge Open, Hungarian Classic, Hungarian Masters, Police Open and Harvel Open and for 2 years he was the BDO Boys number 1. His best achievement was winning the Dutch Open youth tournament in 2019.

Daan has represented the Dutch Team winning the JDC World Cup twice and has reached the semi-finals of the singles 3 times. His current focus is on the PDC Development Tour and is looking to compete in the PDC Q School in 2023, he keeps his practice up by playing local tournaments, superleague and the regional ranking competitions.

Daan’s talents don’t stop at steel tip, he also plays in a soft tip team where he recently became the online European champion.
