Youth Darts School Ireland becomes Elite 1 Affiliated!

We're pleased to announce that the Youth Darts School Ireland has officially become an Elite 1 Affiliated Academy, the first foray into Ireland with Target Darts. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our commitment to supporting grassroots darts development.

Stephen Greene, who leads the Youth Darts School Ireland is excited about the future of the sport, saying “We started in 2012 in a small room in Portlaoise with a few darts stands and since then I have seen massive growth in Youth Darts and with Luke Littler this year, he has definitely made a lot more youths take an interest in darts.”

"We started our new Season 2 weeks ago and we had 57 youths play darts in our new venue in Balyroan Community Hall Co. Laois, which is phenomenal and a new record for us and still getting a lot of parents enquiring about joining up."

He continued “Its great to see so many youths play a sport I love so much. Its a privilege and a honour to be involved with Target Darts over the next 3 years and everyone here in the club are so very grateful to have great equipment to play on and all supplied by Target Darts.”

Really looking forward to what the future brings for our players, if Luke Littler is happy to be with Target, so are we. It will be exciting for our youths to be involved with such a big name in darts.”

As part of the Elite 1 Affiliation program, the Youth Darts School Ireland will benefit from enhanced resources, equipment, and access to our experienced support network. This partnership underscores our dedication to nurturing talent at all levels of the sport and all around the world.
