West of Scotland Darts Academy Joins Target's Elite 1!

We are delighted to announce that West of Scotland Darts Academy has officially joined our Elite 1 Affiliated Academies programme!

West of Scotland Darts Academy meet every Wednesday evening at the Renfrew Cricket Club and the amazing team is dedicated to working with young dart players, with the motto being if they can retrieve the darts safely from the board unaided, they’ll teach you.

At the Academy, they concentrate on teaching the fundamentals of the sport from how to use all the equipment needed, stance, board management and darts etiquette.

There is a strong belief at West of Scotland Darts Academy that, creating the correct atmosphere is the most important thing to teach and with over 35 years of teaching darts and 55 years of experience coaching children in a variety of different sports, West of Scotland Darts Academy provides an exceptional learning environment for all its members.  

With numerous students playing at local, regional, national and even international levels this is credited to the lessons they have learnt at West of Scotland Darts Academy.

With currently 24 members but a waiting list of 30 kids due to the Luke Littler effect, West of Scotland Darts Academy will gain access to Target Darts expertise and state-of-the-art resources. To equip all the young players with the tools they need to excel in darts and beyond.
