New Signing - Gavin Carlin

We are delighted to welcome the signing of Gavin Carlin as our newest member of Team Target. He joins an illustrious line up with some of the biggest names in darts. The County Derry resident is raring to go saying "I'm really excited to join Target, it's an excellent opportunity for myself and I'm looking forward to showing what I can do."

It's been a long time coming for Gavin as he's actually been playing darts for 20 years "I've played since I was 18 but only really started to take it seriously in the past 7 years once I started playing County Darts". He was quick to praise one of the people who helped him get to where he is "I don't really have a darting hero but if I were to mention anyone, it would have to be Dermott McGuinness, our County Darts Manager. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be throwing at the level I am today".

Gavin earned his Q-School Ranking Tour Card in 2019 and has since competed in the last 3 UK Opens. Most recently he put on a solid show, narrowly missing out on a place in the final to the eventual winner at the PDC Challenge Tour 2022 CT 10 Hildesheim. Gavin currently ranks an impressive 12th in the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit and will be looking to pick up some fine form in the coming weeks.

Target's Managing Director James Tattersall has welcomed Gavin to the team saying "It's great to see another top player joining Target, hopefully, we can help him to take his game to the next level and challenge for some trophies!"
