Elite1 Round Up April 2025

April has been a dynamic and rewarding month for our Elite 1 players and Target Academies. From dominating major competitions to celebrating personal breakthroughs, our athletes have delivered standout performances across the board. Here's a look at the top achievements and exciting news that made this month one to remember.

April was a month of success and progress for our Elite 1 players. Here’s a look at some of the standouts:

• Mason Teese was part of the England Boys’ team who won the British Internationals.

   

• Oliver Haughan was part of the England Boys’ team who won the British Internationals.

   

• Paige Pauling was part of the England Girls team who won the British Internationals. She won the WDF Estonia Open girls and Ladies tournaments and won the WDF Tallinn open girls.

   

• Mitchell Lawrie received boy’s player of the tournament for Scotland at the British Internationals. He won the Fife Open boys and reached the semi-final of the men’s tournament. He also won the Fife Open Men’s pairs tournament partnering Owen Brycelnad. Mitchell won an ADC vault in Bo’ness.

   

• Arthur Allston reached the final of the JDC Foundation Tour 5 and he won Tours 6, 10 & 12. He won this month’s Grand Prix at the Sudbury Elite 1 Youth Darts Academy. He won his county match and was awarded U18’s M.O.M with an average of 25.05

   

• Jenson Walker reached the semi-finals of the PDC Development Tour 7. He won the Brandon Open and was crowned champion at the Modus Super Champions week.

   

• Owen Bryceland reached the final of the JDC Scotland Fife Open. He won the Fife Open mens pairs tournament partnering Mitchell Lawrie. Qwen won the JDC Scottish Masters beating Mitchell in the final.

   

• Kaya Baysal won 2 competitions at Rogues Bar and an ADC Vault at Davids St. he also won the WDF Budapest Classic boys and men’s tournaments, making him the youngest player to win a WDF Senior title (13 days younger than Luke!) he then went onto win the WDF Budapest Classic boys.

   

• Kaya Baysal and Joseph Westby reached the semi-final of the WDF Men’s pairs in Budapest.

   

• Lennon Wharf won the league Champion of Champions. He won his U18’s county match for Suffolk Youth 3-0. He won the first Legion Cup competition.

   

• Jayden Walker won the Southampton Darts series 11. He beat Simon Whitlock in an exhibition in Worthing.

   

• Harry Gregory reached the final of an ADC Vault in Pendlebury.

   

• Sophie McKinlay won the Fife Open ladies tournament.

   

• Lee Bradshaw won a youth competition in Boston and reached the final of the adult tournament.

Our Pathway players have been making great strides in their development, and April 2025 was no different. Here's what they’ve been up to:

• Jack Steer reached the quarter finals of the JDC Foundation Tour 7.

   

• Mattie Ambage is the Platinum Champion at St Helens Darts Academy. He won the ADC northwest finals youth competition.

   

• Ben Proudfoot won the pairs competition at the Windmill Academy and the under 18’s competition at Dereham Cricket Club. He won his county match for Suffolk Youth 3-0.

   

• Elijah Bale has won the local Mens singles league.

   

• Eoin Roche won the Youth School Ireland senior tour 3.

   

• Owen Howard reached the final of a local competition.

   

• Dylan Moss won the Vault series 1 at Boundary Park Academy.
