The Lightsaber First Editions are our most ambitious design challenge to date. We wanted to create a range that genuinely would make Star Wars and darts fans gasp, pushing our limits to create the pinnacle in engineering and storytelling.

Each first edition dart is a near perfect representation of iconic Sith and Jedi Lightsabers translated into a functional dart barrel. For Collection I we focused on the classics, and we felt where better to start than Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

For our 95% Tungsten dart we wanted to pay tribute to the Dark Lord himself. Being arguably the most famous and complex villain of all time, our challenge was clear, to create a living breathing representation (both physically and spiritually) as a dart.

Every detail in this dart adds to its aura and prestige, from the intricate lasered chest plate to the elegant Vader helmet pattern in the barrel. The packaging has a presence of its own, with an all-black print, custom artwork, and mask like box opening it sets the stage perfectly for the darkness that lies within. 

From the opening scene of ‘A New Hope’, to the damaged hyperdrive of the Millennium Falcon, to the moment Luke’s X-wing fires its photon torpedoes to destroy the death star, the ships and crafts in Star Wars have provided some of the most memorable moments for fans.

Each dart meticulously captures the unique design features of these much-loved ships with precision and playability in mind. Highlights include the lasered astromech droid on the X-wing barrel and the webbed wing inspired pattern engraved into the Tie fighter barrel design.

We wanted to create a dartboard and surround that was a trophy piece, a collectable that fans would cherish for years to come and feel proud to hang on their wall. The Millennium Falcon concept was a must, with the Falcons cockpit fitting almost seamlessly with the shapes of the surround and dartboard.

The Millennium Falcon Hyperspace illustration is an original Star Wars artwork created at Target and approved by Lucasfilm, featuring the iconic cockpit using silver and gold metallic print. Highlights include Han Solo’s Sabacc dice, and the integrated Tie Fighter illustrations featured on the dartboard.

For ‘Collection I’ we introduce a range of characters that are some of the Studios favourites that we hope you will love too including R2-D2, Darth Maul and the classic Imperial Storm Trooper. Each Boa cases material, colours and print finish has been tailored to best represent that character.
