JDC BELFAST ACADEMY
At the heart of Belfast’s growing darts scene is the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) Belfast Academy, a vibrant and welcoming space where young players aged 8 to 18 come together to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun.
Dillon, the JDC Belfast Academy has been making a difference since its launch on 13th January 2024. Located at 32 Danube Street, Belfast BT13 1RT, the academy runs every Monday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering the perfect environment for young players to develop both on and off the oche.
Now home to 30 dedicated members, the academy goes beyond just darts. Through scoring and gameplay, members naturally enhance their maths skills while also learning the value of teamwork and camaraderie.

Each session is carefully designed to build not just sporting ability but also personal development in a supportive and inclusive setting.
What makes JDC Belfast stand out is its focus on the complete experience. It’s not just about becoming better at darts, it’s about becoming more confident, learning how to support others, and discovering the joy of being part of a team. Whether a beginner or a more experienced player, every member is welcomed and encouraged to progress at their own pace.
Although the academy does not yet have a website, the team is exploring ways to share their journey and achievements more widely. With its strong foundation and passionate leadership, JDC Belfast is already becoming a key part of the local darts community and is certainly one to watch as it continues to grow
