Youth Darts Academy IOW Joins Target's Elite 1!

We’re ecstatic to welcome Youth Darts Academy IOW as the first-ever Dart Academy on the Isle of Wight to join our prestigious Elite 1 Affiliated Academy programme!

Launched in February, this fast-growing academy has already made an incredible impact, boasting 96 members aged 7 to 17. With sessions running across Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, young darting talent across the island is receiving structured, exciting training in everything from darts etiquette and chalking to grouping, confidence building and doubles practice.

Youth Darts Academy IOW stands out not just for its rapid growth but for its values: fun, affordability, and community support. The academy runs a wide range of programmes designed to build skills, boost confidence, and grow a lifelong love for darts.

With regular visits from ambassadors, including Challenge Tour player Joe Hunt and former World Youth Champion Keegan Brown, young players are inspired by senior pros.

By joining the Target Elite 1 Academy programme, Youth Darts Academy IOW will now have access to professional-grade equipment, exclusive coaching resources and ongoing support and development tools.
