'My ultimate achievement would be to become World Champion' Jarred Cole

ANOTHER TALENTED YOUTH PLAYER JOINS #TEAMTARGET

INTRODUCING...JARRED COLE

We've had a busy few days here at the Target HQ, and are equally as excited to announce the signing of yet another passionate and determined young darts player, Jarred Cole.

Also only 17, Jarred is already the Euro Cup Singles Youth champion, winner of the England Classic and plays for Hertfordshire Senior County Team and Youth Team.

We sat down with Jarred to ask him a few on the spot questions, here's what we found out:

Target: To start with, what are your biggest accomplishments in your careers up until this point?

Cole: I was selected for the Finder Darts Masters, which considering it invite only, that really was an honour!

Target: If you could give any of the youth players some advice - what would it be?

Cole: Keep practising, if you believe you can achieve.

Target: What would be your ultimate achievement in the future?

Cole: To be World Champion

Target: How do you prepare pre-game?

Cole: I tend to have a couple of throws, make sure my arm is loose and that I'm in the right mind-set

Target: What is your biggest challenge, and what do you do to manage this challenge?

Cole: I would say my biggest challenge is waking up early to practice, so I manage it by setting my alarm!

Target: Who would be your inspiration within the industry or in sports?

Cole: My dad was my idol and got me into the game, he played for Herts county and I've followed in his footsteps, he's not here anymore so I hope I've made him proud.

Target: What was the best advice you were ever given?

Cole: Believe in yourself

Target: If you weren't a professional darts player, what would you want to do?

Cole: I would be a chef, I'm about to get my MVQ - Level 2 in cookery

Target: What do you want your walk on song to be?

Cole: Party Rock Anthem

Target look forward to working with Jarred and watching him continue to grow.
