A great night for #TeamTarget saw Rob Cross move two points clear at the top of the Premier League table, as Raymond van Barneveld breathed life into his campaign with a first victory.
World number two Cross produced another ton-plus average, ending on 104.33 in his 7-4 win over the Grand Slam Champion Gerwyn Price at the Mercedes Benz Arena, Berlin.
That, coupled with Michael van Gerwen's second defeat of the tournament (to Daryl Gurney), leaves "Voltage" top of the table after seven weeks of action.
"I'm playing really well; I'm happy," said the former World Champ, "I'm practising hard and working hard, and most of all I'm enjoying it.
"I couldn't ask to be in a better position at the minute and I still feel I'm going to get better."
Meanwhile, 2014 Premier League Champion Raymond van Barneveld overturned German number one Max Hopp by a scoreline of 7-3 in front of nearly 10,000 German fans in Berlin.
"Barney" produced the first 170 checkout of this year's campaign in the eighth leg, as he moved within a point of Michael Smith and safety from elimination.
Next up is a double-header in van Barneveld's home country of the Netherlands, as the action comes from Rotterdam on Wednesday and Thursday next week.
"Barney" hopes to maintain his push up the table against Daryl Gurney on Wednesday, before facing Michael van Gerwen on Judgement Night (the last night of league action before the bottom-ranked player is eliminated), while Cross takes on Mensur Suljovic before facing one of The Contenders, Jeffrey de Zwaan.
Prior to that though is the opening European Tour event of the year, as Cross and Barney are joined by fellow Target pros including Dave Chisnall and Adrian Lewis, with three days of action from Leverkusen, Germany - and live coverage on PDC TV, as well as via various bookmakers' websites.
