North American darts star Danny Baggish completes an eventful 6 months by putting pen to paper and signing a new deal with Target Darts. He said that "This is huge, for Target to continue to have faith in me and keep me on the team is unbelievable, hopefully I can continue to prove that this is a good signing for years to come."
Danny put the United States on the map last December after producing an epic run at the World Championships, leaving big names such as 2x World Champion Adrian Lewis and Damon Heta in his wake.
He then threw his name in the hat alongside over 500 other hopefuls at PDC Q-School as he looked to get his hands on that all illusive PDC Tour Card. Danny showed why he is called 'The Gambler' as he produced two sensational last-ditch final day runs to secure his ticket to join the PDC Tour, becoming the first American to achieve this at a Q-School event since its debut in 2011.
Danny is beginning to find his feet on the Pro Tour whilst he continues to balance his darts with his family life back in Florida. His new contract with Target is a symbol of the commitment he has to his future in darts as he peruses elite status in the sport.
Target Darts Managing Director James Tattersall is thrilled with the new signing and said, "Danny has brought excitement and energy into the game; he's a class player and we are very proud to sign a new long-term deal."
