Pinnacle Darts Academy joins the Target Darts Academy network!
Target Darts is thrilled to welcome Pinnacle Darts Academy to its network of academies, expanding our support for young darts talent across the UK.
Based at The White Rose in Outwood and led by Craig Brierley, Pinnacle Darts Academy has quickly become a hub for young players since opening in September 2025. With over 100 members aged 7 to 17, the academy has built a reputation for developing confidence, resilience, and skill in every player who walks through its doors.
The academy meets multiple times each week, on Mondays at 6pm and 7:15pm, Tuesdays at 5:30pm, and Wednesdays at 6pm and 7:30pm. Its sessions are designed to encourage personal growth, teaching members to believe in themselves, respect one another, always give their best effort, and aim to improve even by just 1% in some aspect of their game each session.
Pinnacle Darts Academy stands out for its highly inclusive structure that allows players of all abilities to thrive. While match results can sometimes affect confidence, Pinnacle’s system rewards improvement in individual statistics, ensuring that every player has a sense of achievement each week. This approach has been central in helping members build confidence over the past six months, and the academy is proud of the progress made.
The academy is also actively involved in the community and proud of its affiliation with Wakefield Trinity Rugby Club. Recently, Pinnacle hosted a 12-hour marathon to raise funds to support entry fees for players. The event included appearances and matches with Wakefield Trinity players and concluded with a special visit from Charlie Manby, a member of the academy since its beginning.
Despite being a relatively new academy, Pinnacle has already celebrated significant achievements. Jack Taylor reached the semi-finals of the JDC Foundation Tour in February 2026, while Charlie Dargan, Ethan Greenhough, and Max Carter all reached the last 16 in March 2026, showcasing the talent and dedication of its members.
