- 16 places go to the top 16 of the PDC Order of Merit and enter in round 2.
- 16 places go to the top 16 of the PDC ProTour Order of Merit (excluding players already qualified via the PDC Order of Merit).
- 10 places go to the winners, the Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, in which up to 112 players compete.
- 4 players from Host Nation Qualifiers. These qualifying tournaments are open to darts players from the country in which the European Tour event is taking place.
- 1 place goes to the winner of the Nordic & Baltic Associate Member Qualifiers.
- 1 place goes to the winner of the East European Associate Member Qualifiers.
