Elite1 Round Up December 2024

While December is often a quieter month in the world of youth darts, our Target Elite1 Youth Development Program has proven once again that there’s no off-season for excellence!

We start with a monumental achievement: a huge congratulations to Paige Pauling, who clinched the WDF Girls World Championship title this month! In a thrilling all-Target final, Paige emerged victorious over Sophie McKinley. Sophie also made history by qualifying for both the WDF Girls and Women’s World Championships, reaching the final of the Women’s event. A truly exceptional accomplishment—congratulations, Sophie!

On the boys’ side, the WDF Boys World Championship saw Jenson Walker display incredible talent, narrowly missing out in the final. Well done, Jenson, on a fantastic tournament! We also celebrate Mason Teese for reaching the quarter-finals, where he faced Jenson, and James Beeton for his impressive run to the last 32 of the WDF Men’s World Championship.

 Jack “Invincible” Vincent has been on fire this month, capturing three ADC Vault titles—two in St. Albans and one in Abbotts Langley. Keep up the incredible momentum, Jack!

Adding to the success, Nathan Care secured victory in the ADC Vault event in Preston. Another fantastic achievement by one of our rising stars.

Other Elite 1 and Elite 1 Pathway player achievements this month include:

• Mitchell Lawrie won the SDA Men’s Tour 3 and the SDA Boys Matchplay.
• Seth Steffano won the Buckeye Open 501 Singles event in the USA.
• Jayden Fitzgerald won the Tom Deady Memorial Doubles tournament.
• Mattie Ambage was victorious at the Undisputed ADC Northwest event.
• Jack Steer received both the Players’ Player Award and the Captain’s Award at the Andover Academy presentation night.
