The World Series of Darts is heating up with the Australian Darts Masters 2024 upon us. The top players know what they must do and will want to put on a good performance as we enter the last two stages before the finals.

The World Series of Darts returns to Australia between Friday 9th & Saturday 10th August.
Where is the Australian Darts Masters 2024 taking place?
The Australian Darts Masters 2024 is taking place at the WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong.
What is the schedule for the Australian Darts Masters 2024?
There are two sessions taking place for the 2024 Australian Darts Masters.
On Friday, the first round will be played, and this is when the top eight PDC players will take on the eight local players from the Oceanic region.
The quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals will take place on Saturday.
How to watch the Australian Darts Masters 2024?
Due to the time difference, both sessions will be beginning at 10 am UK time.
To watch both sessions live you’ll need to subscribe to a PDC.tv account but if you want to watch the session for free ITV 4 will be showing them later in the day.
Friday, August 9: 10:00 am - 2:30 pm | First round (ITV4 19:00-23:00)
Saturday, August 10: 10:00 am - 2:30 pm | Quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals (ITV4 17:00-21:00)
What happened in last year's Australian Darts Masters 2023?
Rob Cross was the winner in Wollongong in 2023 and has been impressive in the World Series of Darts so far having won the US Masters and reaching the final for both previous tournaments the Nordic Masters & Poland Masters.

2024 World Champion Luke Humphries & 2024 Premier League Winner Luke Littler are both making their darting debut down under. With both players in tremendous form since the turn of the new year they will hope to keep this momentum going and add more silverware to their already bloated trophy hauls.
Australian Number one Damon Heta will be keen to take centre stage on home soil. The remaining PDC representatives include World Champions Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Dimitri Van den Bergh. 'The Dream Maker' will be making his third consecutive appearance this competition and will be eager to go one better than last year when he reached the semi-finals, only to lose to home nation representative Damon Heta.

What is the format of the Australian Darts Masters?
Format: First Round - Best of 11 legs Quarter-Finals - Best of 11 legs Semi-Finals - Best of 13 legs Final - Best of 15 legs
Who plays who?
The top four seeds in the tournament are split up to ensure they do not face each other immediately. Due to his superb performances so far, Luke Littler is the number 1 seeded player. Rob Cross (last year's winner) holds the number 2 seeded spot and so will be on the other side of the draw to 'The Nuke'.
Rob Cross could meet number 3 Seed Gerwyn Price in the later rounds if he comes through the first two rounds. Completing the top 4 seeded players is Luke Humphries who has had an outstanding year so far. He will be in the same half of the draw as Luke Littler, which could lead to a tantalizing semi-final.

Once the Australian Masters is wrapped up we take the short trip over to New Zealand. The New Zealand Darts Masters will be the penultimate tournament before the World Series of Darts Finals commences in Amsterdam in September where an overall winner will be crowned.
