ADAM LIPSCOMBE
Adam Lipscombe, born on 30 May 1992, is an English professional darts player currently competing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Hailing from Portsmouth, Adam first gained recognition as a standout performer in the MODUS Super Series back in 2023, where he showcased his talent and potential to the darting world.
Before the creation of the MODUS Super Series, Lipscombe competed mainly at the national level. He earned his place in the series through amateur qualifying events, where his consistent performances quickly established him as a player to watch.
In 2024, Adam tested himself on the PDC Challenge Tour, finishing the season in 70th place. Later that year, he won the qualifying tournament for the 2024 ADC Global Championship. During the tournament, he impressed throughout the group stage and advanced to the knockout rounds. After victories over Charlie Martin in the quarter-finals and a strong semi-final showing against Bradley Brooks, Adam reached the final, where he finished as runner-up to Devon Petersen. Despite the loss, his performance marked a major step forward in his career and confirmed his growing reputation on the international stage.
At the start of 2025, Adam secured his PDC Tour Card through Q-School - an achievement made even more remarkable by the circumstances. Initially appearing to be eliminated, a late withdrawal saw him called back to Milton Keynes at the last minute for the final stage, where he seized his opportunity in impressive fashion.
Adam wasted no time proving his worth on the professional circuit. Shortly after earning his Tour Card, he produced a breakout performance at the Players Championship 7, where he reached the final. Along the way, he recorded notable victories over top players including William O’Connor, Dirk van Duijvenbode, and Australian number one Damon Heta. His superb run was eventually halted by former World Champion Gary Anderson in the final, but the result firmly established Adam as a rising force within the PDC ranks.
With his composed throw, determined mindset, and growing list of achievements, Adam Lipscombe continues to make his mark on the professional darts scene and looks set to compete for major honours in the years ahead.
