A great weekend of darts saw me win the UK Open qualifier in Wigan at the end of April and it sets me up nicely for things as the PDC season starts to take shape.
I am playing some decent darts at the moment and my ultimate goal is to get back into the Premier League action again and beyond that lift some major honours again.
At the time of writing I am sitting eighth in the PDC rankings and Adrian Lewis, Ronnie Bater and Terry Jenkins in my sights as they are the three players ranked above me in the rankings.
I am starting to feel like the 'Jaws' of old again and can't wait to sink my teeth into the PDC big boys as I stuck into things over the next few months.
Best Wishes, Colin.

In April at the seventh UK Open Qualifier I enjoyed a great day of darts which saw me clinch the title and another day like that will suit me just me fine. Failing that a good run and some solid performances will suffice.
I am looking at getting back my Premier League place back and watching the recent final at home and seeing the massive crowds and buzz that particular tournament generates just served to make me more determined to get back in there next year.
First off though I need a good run at Bolton and whilst I know there will be plenty of other lads feeling the same I am playing well enough at the moment and hope that will be enough to do myself justice.
Take Care, Colin.

I am disappointed to be going home early from the UK Open, but fair play to Andy Smith who deserved his win. One good thing about the current darts calendar is that there is no time to sit about feeling sorry for yourself and and it is straight back on the practice board for me in preparation for the Barnsley Players Championship weekend. Hopefully I can make amends there and get the show on the road again.
Cheers, Colin.
